
The results of the TUBITAK 2209 supported project completed by the 3rd year students of the Social Service Department under the academic consultancy of our Commission Chair Prof. Dr. Azize Serap TUNÇER were presented at the II. Health Sciences Student Symposium.
Our students completed their project titled “Contribution to Creating Awareness on the Dangers of Substance Addiction Decreasing with Age in Children” with the participation of 292 students in 6 primary and secondary schools in Çankırı and applied to the Symposium Board for the oral presentation of the research results of the project. Upon the acceptance of the application, the project manager and partners, Vildan TORLAK, Ayşenur ÇAKIL and Esra SAFRAN, attended the program accompanied by their academic advisors for the presentation of the project`s final data and the presentation completed in the session dated May 16, 2025 was made by the project manager Vildan TORLAK.
In the symposium session in question, the happiness of having the only undergraduate presentation among the presentations of doctoral and graduate students and being supported by the audience with interesting questions and comments was shared. Preparations for the symposium proceedings book are ongoing and it was learned that it will be published within the year.
