Hybrid Addiction Fighting Training was carried out for Taşmescit Campus students by Çankırı Karatekin University Health, Culture and Sports Department Health Branch Directorate Guidance and Psychological Counseling Polyclinic experts.
In the face-to-face part of the training, Specialist. Psychologist Elif Ayten Kayar gave information about alcohol addiction.
Kayar aimed to reduce physical and psychological distance by sitting in the same row with students and thus strengthen empathy.
In this friendly educational environment, it addressed alcohol addiction with its developmental, emotional and social dimensions, enabling students to approach the subject from a more sincere and high-aware perspective.
In the online part of the training, Psychologist Ali Muti Çekirge made a presentation on technology addiction and gambling addiction.
Çekirge participated in the training via videoconference method, without being confined to a physical location, and conveyed important information about the types of addiction and ways to protect them.
It was stated that the training provided contributed to students` awareness of addiction types and development of healthy living habits.
